Nurvix is built for Indian home healthcare. We hold our partner hospitals and nurses to standards aligned with NABH and the Indian Nursing Council, handle clinical waste under the Bio-Medical Waste Rules, and protect your data under the DPDP Act, 2023.
INC-registered nurses
Every nurse is registered with the Indian Nursing Council or a State Nursing Council and background-verified before onboarding.
NABH-aligned protocols
Care follows protocols aligned to NABH standards for infection control, patient safety and clinical documentation.
DPDP-compliant data
Personal and health data is processed on consent, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Our role and regulatory framework
- Nurvix is a technology platform operated by Nurvix Care Tech that connects families with partner hospitals and nursing homes and their registered nurses for doctor-prescribed care delivered at home. Nurvix facilitates the booking; the clinical care is delivered by the registered nurse under the partner establishment's supervision.
- Partner establishments are onboarded on a written declaration that they hold valid registration under the Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2010 or the equivalent State Act, and — where applicable — NABH accreditation or NABH Entry-Level certification for their facility.
- Nurvix does not diagnose, prescribe or provide emergency medical response. Services are rendered against a doctor's prescription or discharge advice.
2. Nurse verification & credentialing
- Registration: every nurse holds a valid registration with the Indian Nursing Council (INC) or a State Nursing Council.
- Qualification: nursing qualifications (B.Sc Nursing, GNM, ANM) are validated by the partner hospital before a nurse is listed.
- Identity & background: government ID is verified and each professional is vetted by the partner establishment. Verified professionals carry a badge on their profile.
- Ongoing standing: a nurse can be suspended from the platform on any credible safety or conduct concern pending review.
3. Clinical safety standards (NABH-aligned)
- Informed consent is obtained before any procedure, and the patient or attendant may decline at any time.
- Hand hygiene and standard precautions are followed on every visit.
- Safe injection practice: single-use, sterile, disposable syringes and needles are used and never reused.
- Medication is administered strictly as prescribed; the nurse verifies the drug, dose, route and patient before administration.
- Any adverse event or near-miss is documented and reported to the partner establishment and to Nurvix.
4. Biomedical waste management
- Sharps and clinical consumables generated during a home visit are segregated at source and carried back by the nurse for disposal through the partner establishment's authorised route.
- Disposal follows the Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 (as amended) via a Common Bio-medical Waste Treatment Facility (CBWTF) contracted by the establishment. Clinical waste is never left at the patient's home or in domestic refuse.
5. Patient rights
- To be treated with dignity and respect, without discrimination.
- To information about the care being provided and its expected outcome.
- To privacy and confidentiality of personal and health information.
- To give or withhold informed consent, and to seek a second opinion.
- To raise a grievance and receive a timely, fair response.
6. Data protection (DPDP Act, 2023)
- Nurvix acts as a Data Fiduciary. Personal and health data is collected on your consent, for the specific purpose of providing care, and retained only as long as needed for that purpose and to meet legal obligations.
- You (the Data Principal) have the right to access, correct and erase your data, to withdraw consent, and to nominate a representative. Requests are handled through our Grievance Officer.
- Sensitive health information is shared only with the assigned nurse and the partner establishment coordinating your care.
7. Grievance redressal
- Concerns about care quality, conduct, billing or data can be raised through Help & Support in the app.
- Grievance Officer: Grievance Officer, Nurvix Care Tech. Email grievance@nurvix.care · +91-90000-00000. We acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days, in line with applicable law.
- This does not replace emergency medical care. In a medical emergency, call 108 or go to the nearest hospital.
This page describes the standards Nurvix requires of its partners and the safeguards it applies. Accreditation and registration are held by the respective partner establishments and professionals; Nurvix verifies these declarations at onboarding and on review.
