1. Cancelling a booking
You can cancel a visit from the booking's tracking screen at any time before the nurse starts it. You will be asked for the reason, which the hospital sees. What it costs depends on how far the visit had got:
Free within 10 minutes of booking, whatever the stage.
Before a nurse is assigned: free.
After a nurse is assigned: free.
Once the nurse is on the way: free.
Once the visit has started: free.
If the hospital or Nurvix cancels, you are never charged. Any charge is shown to you before you confirm a cancellation, never afterwards, and is deducted from an online refund or noted on a cash booking.
Once the nurse has started the visit it can no longer be cancelled from the app — speak to her, or call the hospital from your booking.
2. Refunds on online payments
If you paid online and are eligible for a refund, it is initiated to your original payment method. Banks and UPI providers typically take 3–7 working days to credit it back.
3. Cash on visit
For cash-on-visit bookings there is nothing to refund on cancellation — you simply aren't charged.
4. If a visit can't be completed
If a nurse cannot reach you or the visit cannot be carried out for reasons on our side, you are refunded in full. If the nurse arrives but the visit cannot proceed for reasons at the patient's end, a partial charge may apply.
5. Requesting a refund
Most refunds are automatic. If something looks wrong, contact Help & Support with your booking reference and we will review it promptly.
6. Contact
Reach us through Help & Support in the app for any billing question.
